Naturally, different artists will structure their programs differently, but in general, the best residencies include:

staff chooses a theme or curriculum topic
staff and artist pre-plan
artist presents a large group opening event
artist and teachers collaborate with CORE GROUP in workshops on theme

students research, write, edit, revise, rehearse and eventually present or perform their final project with the artist.
